Since launching in South Africa two months ago, new SUV brand Jetour has partnered with South Africa's very own Good Things Guy, Brent Lindeque, to find five inspiring South African influencers to embody and represent their brand.
"We wanted to find people who are not only influential but who are also making a real difference in South Africa," says Vice President of Jetour South Africa, Nic Campbell. "People who are shaping the future of our country in their own unique ways, just as Jetour is shaping the future of mobility".
The five Shape Shifters, as they will be known, were selected for their ability to inspire and influence positive change in their respective fields:
Brent Lindeque - Founder of Good Things Guy, South Africa's #1 good news platform, reaching millions of people every month with positive, uplifting stories about South Africa and South Africans.
Liezel van der Westhuizen - TV and radio personality, professional MC, and motivational speaker, who is passionate about environmental conservation and making a difference in people's lives.
Maps Maponyane - Actor, TV presenter, and entrepreneur, who is dedicated to youth development and education through various initiatives and his own foundation.
Minnie Dlamini - Actress, TV presenter, and businesswoman, who is committed to empowering young women and promoting diversity in the entertainment industry.
DJ Fresh - Legendary radio DJ, producer, and philanthropist, known for his work in youth development and music education.
"Each of these Shape Shifters embodies the values that Jetour stands for - innovation, excellence, and a commitment to making a positive impact," says Campbell. "They will help us tell the Jetour story and connect with South African consumers in authentic and meaningful ways".
The Shape Shifters will be involved in various Jetour initiatives throughout the year, including community outreach programs, environmental projects, and youth development initiatives.
"This is more than just an influencer campaign," says Campbell. "It's about creating a movement of positive change in South Africa, with Jetour and our Shape Shifters leading the way".
The Shape Shifters will each be driving a Jetour vehicle and sharing their experiences with their followers, giving South Africans an authentic look at what the brand has to offer.
"We're excited to see how our Shape Shifters will help us connect with South African consumers and demonstrate our commitment to not just selling cars, but making a real difference in the communities we serve," concludes Campbell.
